Apple & Maple Balsamic is handcrafted by Les Vergers Cataphard & Fils, in the heart of the village of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, in the Lower Laurentians region.
To create this Quebec balsamic, the producers handpicked and cold-pressed a selection of apples carefully grown on their estate. The fruits are then slowly reduced into must, in small batches and through gentle evaporation, to which maple syrup is added. The result is a fruity, caramelized, and delicately tangy product of the highest quality.
The tasting experience opens with a fruity flavor and extends into a subtle lingering finish.
1 ½ oz bourbon or Whisky
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz Apple & Maple Balsamic
¾ oz triple Sec
1 orange zest
Mix the ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice.
Serve in a whiskey glass over ice.
