The Apple Balsamic and the Apple and Maple Balsamic are handcrafted by the Cataphard family in the heart of the village of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac, in the Lower Laurentians region.
To create these Quebec balsamics, the producers handpicked and cold-pressed a blend of 20 carefully selected apples from their estate. The fruits are then slowly reduced into must, in small quantities and through gentle evaporation, to obtain these unique products of optimal quality.
The gustatory pleasure comes from their fruity flavors, which end with a subtle lingering finish.
1 ½ oz bourbon or Whisky
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz Apple Balsamic
¾ oz triple Sec
1 orange zest
Mix the ingredients in a shaker with plenty of ice.
Serve in a whiskey glass over ice.
