Community Trip to Guatemala - CEGEP First Year Students
Contribute to funding our community work project in Guatemala. The funds will be used exclusively for purchasing construction materials for the host community.
Since 2016, the eleventh-grade students of Collège Stanislas in Montreal have been traveling to Central America to live within a traditional community and carry out community work. The money raised through the sale of Mr. Rafael’s products is used exclusively to fund the projects carried out on-site. For example, students have built concrete slabs, installed tiles in a community kitchen, worked on agricultural projects, and more. The communities we visit provide receipts for all the funds we give them in order to ensure transparency in our campaign. This year, 27 boys and girls are participating in this project, which will support a Kak’chikel Guatemalan community in San Juan la Laguna.
